If you have young kids and want them to get involved with football the Crosspool FC Academy is the place for you.
Training is open to all current Year 1 boys and Year 1 & 2 girls of any ability, the focus is on providing children with their first experience of playing football, in a safe and fun environment. It also gives kids a pathway into the U7s football. Both boys and girls can play in the boys league at that age so it’s also an opportunity for any girls to gain experience before reaching U9s. Training is open to all current Year 1's of any ability.
Sessions meet at King Edward’s Lower School astro turf pitches (outdoor) Wednesday 6-7pm. The cost is just £3 per session.

Crosspool FC Wildcats – in partnership with EO All Stars
The Wildcats is an environment in which girls aged 5-11 can come and enjoy football and start to build their
skills and have the opportunity to play with existing and make new friends. The environment we would like to build is one with a positive message for girls playing and enjoying football. With this in mind we are also very focused on providing positive female role models for the girls. Therefore we are looking out for as many female volunteers as possible to join in this approach.
We run on Thursdays 6-7pm in the sports hall at King Edwards lower school, Darwin Road, S10 5RG.
We’re delighted to be partnering with Lizzy Ogden and her team at E.O. All Stars to run Crosspool FC Wildcats. Lizzy is a former player at a high level and has been involved in coaching since the age of 16. She’s super passionate about developing the next generation of women footballers in Sheffield and is a qualified coach at UEFA-B standard. Lizzy - and all the coaches at EO All Stars - emphasise their mission to champion the child’s potential, to not only develop them technically, but also as a well-rounded individual by building the child’s confidence and skills in a fun and relaxed environment.
