There’s a new addition to the Crosspool FC family with the launch of the CFC Academy. The academy is similar to Wildcats in that the focus is on providing children with their first experience of playing football, in a safe and fun enviornment. It also gives kids a pathway into the U7s - an age group we have not played in before. Both boys and girls can play in the boys league at that age so it’s also an opportunity for any girls to gain experience before reaching U9s.
It will run from 6:15pm - 7pm every Wednesday apart from half term from November 6th at King Edwards Lower School Sports Hall, Darwin Lane, S10 5RG and the cost is just £3 per session.

The Wildcats is an environment in which girls aged 5-11 can come and enjoy football and start to build their
skills and have the opportunity to play with existing and make new friends. The environment we would like to build is one with a positive message for girls playing and enjoying football. With this in mind we are also very focused on providing positive female role models for the girls. Therefore we are looking out for as many female volunteers as possible to join in this approach.
Please ask all mums, aunties, sisters etc if they would like to come and join our coaching team. We have successfully created two brand new under 9s teams at Crosspool, both with female coaches. There is no pressure and coaching is also as much fun as playing. If anyone is doing their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award then this is an ideal opportunity to help out as part of the program.
We run on Thursdays at 6pm - 7pm. If there are any questions please contact
for more information.
